ANKLE SPRAINS IN NETBALL SURVEY - The University of Melbourne (Centre of Health, Exercise & Sports Medicine)

My name is Patrick Rowe and I'm a Physiotherapist and Master of Philosophy candidate at the The University of Melbourne. My team and I at the Centre of Health, Exercise and Sports Medicine (CHESM) are currently undertaking a project investigating ankle sprains and chronic ankle instability in netball. We are now recruiting netball athletes aged 14 years and older across Australia and New Zealand to complete a survey to find out whether they have suffered an ankle sprain(s) whilst playing netball, what medical treatment they sought, if they suffer from any ongoing symptoms since spraining their ankle, and whether they undertake any strategies in order to prevent ankle sprains. The survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. This research project has been approved by the Human Research Ethics Committee of The University of Melbourne (2057673.1).

Each participant who completes the survey will go into the draw to win a pair of ASICS footwear.

Please click here to access the survey

If you have any questions regarding the research project, please don't hesitate in contacting me.
